So autumn has fully set in to motion, dark mornings, icy cold blasts of wind, leaves falling and of course, rain, rain and more rain. Our Bespoke Brides embrace autumn in the Forest of Dean, so we thought we would show you what a great season it is to have a wedding.

Alternative Wedding Fayre
If anyone ever needed proof of how passionate about Bespoke Bride we are, getting up at 8am on a Sunday morning to travel 3 hours to the Corn Exchange, Cambridgeshire for the Alternative Wedding show would have been it. We were prepared with a good healthy breakfast of Haribo, Doritos, pain au chocolates, Ribena and of course Coffee.

Its exclusive Vivienne Westwood released the first exclusive look at her 2012 bridal range today. I know I know, Vivienne Westwood is a top London designer; however she does have a very important tie to the Forest of Dean.

Young Love
We are so excited to be able to bring to you the first in our new feature, ‘Love Stories’. This story is particularly important as it begun in the pub where i had my very first job, many moons ago.

Caradoc Court was the location of our Vintage shoot this weekend. Located near Ross on Wye it is reputed as the former home of Caradoc Vraich-bras; one of the knights of King Arthur’s legendry round table, so was the perfect setting for our first fashion shoot.

The view of Caradoc Court from the garden
Living in the Forest of Dean it is astounding at the number of beautiful places there are to hold either a wedding, civil ceremony or reception in and around the area. The first in our Wedding Venues feature is Caradoc Court, a Jacobean manor house situated just on the edge of Ross on Wye.
