A very good afternoon to you lovelies on this gorgeous Sunday!! The weather has been wonderful again so I’ve been soaking up the sun while Emily is doing the same thing over in Greece! This week in the wedding world we’ve seen tons of summer colours and themed weddings! Here’s a sample of our favourites…

Love my dress shared a 1950′s and 60s inspired wedding. We LOVE the lace umbrella!

Here’s two great tutorials on wall art from a Beautiful Mess, these would make great displays on your big day, a best friend piece and lucky like a four leaf clover! Of course you could alter the quote to something relevant to you and your groom!

Wedding for the Weekend: Ollie & Jenn’s Prestbury Wedding

Written by , Posted in Real Weddings

Jenn and Ollie were married in the beautiful Prestbury St Mary’s Church and it was obvious that the attention to detail on the day would be second to none. After photographing Jenn, her family and the bridesmaids, Marcus from Big Eye Photography drove to The Plough in Prestbury where Ollie was dressed, ready and enjoying a pre-wedding drink! He had no worries about being late for the Church as it was literally across the road from the pub.

After the ceremony, with beautiful, soft light flooding the Church, a few group photos were fitted in before heading back to Jenn’s parents house to take some images for their thankyou cards. This was soon followed by the journey to the evening reception at Whittington, at Ollie’s parents’ house – a gorgeous marquee in landscaped gardens with beautiful touches as can be seen in the images below, from flowers hanging from the roof to croquet on the lawn!

We particularly love the guest book in this wedding and the grooms sense of humour!

A Suit That Fits: How to personalise the small details for your Groom

Written by , Posted in All About the Groom

Following on from their previous post on how to find your perfect wedding suit, the team at A Suit That Fits thought you’d appreciate a few tips on how to accessorise his suit – accessories could also double up as thoughtful wedding gifts too!

How to wear a tie or cravat

Whether he wears a tie or cravat will depend on the style of suit he’s chosen. Traditionally, your Groom would wear a cravat with a morning suit (tails). A tie is more appropriate if your Groom’s wearing a lounge suit. If you’re jetting off for a destination wedding, it might be more appropriate for him to go without a tie or cravat and team a sharp suit with a dashing pocket square and a crisp shirt.

Motivational Monday: Forgiveness and Unconditional Love – a Personal Post…

Written by , Posted in Personal, Self Love

We can’t tell you enough how much we look forward to sharing motivational Mondays with you. In a way they are also therapeutic for us, as we tend to write about the little things that we have experienced or know of someone that the posts may resonate with. We don’t claim to be visionary’s or therapists, but if motivational Monday helps just one person that’s struggling to get through today then we will be thankful, so here it goes …

Wedding For The Weekend- Paul & Amy’s Coberley Summer Wedding

Written by , Posted in Real Weddings

Today we have a gorgeous real wedding to share with you all! Photographed by the very talented Marcus from Big Eye Photography! We had the pleasure of meeting Marcus at the Tweet Up we attended last week and strongly recommend him for anyone looking for a talented, caring and motivated photographer!

Paul and Amy were married in the beautiful Cotswold village of Coberley, where they live, at Coberley Church.  A really stunning area, comprising only a few houses and a real countryside feel, despite it being only about three minutes out of Cheltenham.

When photographer Marcus previously met with Paul and Amy he quickly realised that they love black and white images and that flowers would play a large part  in the detail of their wedding!
