Yesterday morning we had a very exciting email drop into our inbox from the lovely Christy Blanch featuring a collection of GORGEOUS images from a styled photo shoot she had recently done!

Christy explained to us that she had the opportunity to shoot this amazing vintage wedding yurt, showcasing lots of talented local people. That’s one of our favourite parts…local. We absolutely adore supporting and promoting local business’s to us down in the Forest Of Dean, Gloucestershire and for all of those lovelies planning their big day please check these vendors out, they are truly amazing! ♥

Speak Up in Support of Same Sex Marriage!!

Written by , Posted in In The News!

A quick post today as we wanted to highlight an important issue that is being debated on in government as I write this too you…

In two days the government’s consultation about gay marriage ends.  It’s a huge chance to make sure that gay and lesbian people are allowed to marry the person they love. However anti-gay groups are trying desperately to stop it, flooding the government with messages against equal marriage. There’s a big danger the government could decide to bin the idea if they think there’s too much opposition.

That’s why it’s important that we speak up in support of gay marriage. Together, thousands of us can send a quick message saying why we think all people should be given equal rights to marry. We can boost the numbers on the consultation and convince the government to stand strong.

It only takes two minutes and the consultation ends on Thursday, so please message them now: https://secure.38degrees.org.uk/gay-marriage

If the anti-gay campaigners are allowed to overwhelm the consultation, it will make it easier for them to say the public don’t support the plans. The government might decide it’s not worth the hassle. We can show them that huge numbers of us do support gay marriage.

History tells us that when it comes to ending discrimination, people power has an important role to play. Slavery would never have been abolished, and women would never have got the vote, if thousands of people hadn’t spoken up for what was right.

Ending the ban on gay people getting married would be a step towards a fairer society. So let’s boost the numbers for marriage equality before Thursday: https://secure.38degrees.org.uk/gay-marriage

Much Bespoke Love

A Wedding for the Weekend: A Surprise Engagement

Written by , Posted in The Engagement

Ok so our wedding for the weekend isn’t exactly a wedding but it is the first engagement shoot we have ever featured on Bespoke Bride and whats more its the engagement of two of our wonderful friends from across the pond. You may remember Toni  as the beautiful model from the photoshoots we did at Yosemite back a few months ago and it was thanks to her now fiance Chad that the photoshoots went ahead in the first place.

Chads proposal was a complete surprise to Toni who thought she was doing a photoshoot to help out help out Chads sister, the wonderful Mariel from Mariel Hannah photography. Mariel asked her act as a ‘client’ giving information about what she would like from her portrait shoot including the location, the concept and even the outfits, little did she know she was actually setting up her own surprise engagement shoot.

The shoot took place at Huntington and Laguna Beach, where Mariel was able to catch the entire engagement. This truely is one of the most romantic shoots we have ever seen and we know how much you will enjoy seeing how this beautiful couples special day was captured.

High Street Hype: Monsoon 2012 spring/summer Bridal Collection

Written by , Posted in Bridal Fashion

Good afternoon to all you wonderful people

We just have to share our latest love with you – Monsoons bridal collection is a perfect example of how brides can wear a designer style dress without the designer price. Their 2012 spring/summer collection resembles many of the vintage and bohemian styles that were shown on bridal catwalks as of late.

What we love most about the collection is their ability to create something for everyone, with a choice of shades, long or short dresses and a range of silk, chiffon and lace materials, Monsoon is proving it’s not just a place for those on a budget, and is proving its worth as a High street designer with a more glamorous side.
