Wednesday Wedding Inspiration: Baroque ‘n’ Roll

We admit it. We spend a lot of our time drooling over the latest fashion trends and browsing through magazines looking at clothes that we simply can’t afford!

One of the fashion finds that have stuck in our mind for next season is Baroque; it’s dark, it’s edgy and even though it’s a trend from from 17th century this look has something very futuristic about it. Think bold patterns, huge costume jewellery & a style that’s very extravagant.

We loved this trend so much we felt it only necessary to apply it to a wedding theme! Yes…most people would simply wear it, but why not lavish your tables with this trend & cover your cake with it? Our inspiration board is based primarily around the black and gold trend of baroque but we think silver, black & blue would rock just as much!

Dolce and Gabanna would be proud!

Wednesday Wedding Inspiration: Haunting Halloween

Yes ladies and gents it’s that time of year when things are starting to get a little spooky! The evenings are drawing in, the moon is almost full and pumpkins are being purchased all over the place!

This season had us wondering how fun it would be to have a Halloween filled wedding?! We don’t mean your tacky plastic blats stuck on the walls or your guests filling the room covered in face paint & masks!

We were thinking vintage horror films as table names, magic potions as favours, Pumpkin centre pieces and black gothic birdcages! It could be beautifully haunting…

Wednesday Wedding Inspiration: Black & White Baby!

Good afternoon to all of you beauties!

This week’s Wednesday Wedding Inspiration is a little different and is based more upon colour rather than a theme!

When we think of weddings, white is normally the first colour that springs to mind but we absolutely fell in love with the simple idea of adding a splash of black to your wedding. It creates huge contrast and oozes class.
