Fashion Friday: Blossoms Baby!

Never fear Fashion Friday is here! You may have noticed it was absent last week, actually I know many of you noticed as we received a fair few facebook comments asking where the hell it was. When we first began Fashion Friday we never in a million years thought so many of you would be interested in what we wear. But we have been proven wrong, I joked that we had to take a week off to save up to buy new clothes, which isn’t too far from the truth. No one wants to be spotted wearing the same outfit twice now do they?

What Emily Wore: My favourite colours at the moment are Mint and coral I keep banging on about it but I seriously cannot get enough, they make me feel all bright and cheery! These shoes were by far the best find ever, I was digging through my wardrobe trying to find some shoes to wear for the day and found these little gems. I had completely forgot I even owned them, so I felt like I had just bought a new pair of shoes – best feeling in the world!

Fashion Friday: At the Office…

The office can be a pretty dull place for some, but there is never a dull day in our office! We always have so much fun, blogging never feels like work to us, and because no two days are ever the same we can never be bored. Its nice going to the office knowing i’m not going to be clock watching, if anything i’m so engrossed in what i’m doing i don’t realise the time and end up going home much later than I should. Don’t get me wrong it’s certainly not easy trying to be a blogger, we work long hours, with virtually no income but for us it is the love of what we do that keeps us going and knowing that Bespoke Bride inspires so many! Who needs money ey? As someone once said ‘without money, we would all be rich’!

Wow Fashion Friday just got deep! Anyways to brighten up our days we have a little feature called fashion friday which by now I’m sure many of you have come across. So here is what we wore this week…

What Emily Wore: I keep banging on about how I really want it to be summer and I’m not lying I really really do! Anyways it’s still not very summery outside in fact its piddling it down with rain but I thought I would bring the sun indoors with my bright yellow polka dot dress. This bowler hat is in fact is Jess’s which she has kindly borrowed me to jazz up my outfit for today. I fell in love with it during our Seaside shoot last week so I totes need to get me one of these!

“I’ve been feeling all Aztec and tribal since Wednesday Wedding Inspiration and wanted to brighten my wardrobe up a bit! Especially with the rain outside my window, the top is totally my sister’s though! (Sshh…don’t tell her I borrowed it!) I also thought I would wear my big chunky rings that I bought in Mexico ($2 each!!) to throw some more colours into the ensemble!”

Wednesday Wedding Inspiration: An Autumn Journey

A Suit That Fits: What Cloth to Choose for your Groom’s Suit?

Following their previous blogs on how to personalise small details for your groom, and their guide to finding your perfect wedding suit, bespoke tailoring company A Suit That Fits are back again to give you a few hints and tips on how to know what cloth to choose for your Groom’s suit!

There are lots of cool details to choose from when your Groom’s designing his new bespoke suit; but one of the most important of those is the cloth he chooses – this will affect the entire look and feel of the suit. The first thing to think about is what time of the year you’re getting married and go from there:

Summer wedding

If you’re getting married in the summer months, the weather’s likely to be warm (and perhaps a little muggy). To start with, he should choose a lightweight cloth – we’d recommend mohair – it’s made from the hair of the Angora goat, it’s light and breathable whilst remaining a resilient, long lasting cloth. Otherwise, a lightweight wool is great too (it does what it says on the tin – with all the qualities of its heavier counterpart, there is not as much of it to lug about – leaving you feeling fresh as a daisy.)
