A Beautiful Recreation Of Wedding Photographs

Written by , Posted in Real Weddings

Have any of you lovely lot recreated your wedding photographs? It’s not a common thing but it’s an idea that both me and Emily are in love with if it’s done correctly! I think it’s such a beautiful way to remind yourselves of your love for each other and how far you’ve come and what you’ve achieved in all of those years together. With that being said, you can imagine our excitement when we came across this gorgeous photo shoot of Lynette & Charles Ainsley proudly celebrating 37 years of marriage!

They came back to the same beautiful island Kauai, Hawaii where they got married and asked Bob from Eye Expression to help them recreate their dream! Bob said “When I first met the couple they introduced themselves as a ‘couple of old hippies’. They were certainly laid back and were a lot of fun.“ They walked around the beautiful resort snapping away and I couldn’t be happier to share these awesome photos with you today! Keep an eye out for Lynette & Charles holding one of their original wedding photographs too!

Wedding For The Weekend: A Mother of The Bride’s Story…

Written by , Posted in Real Weddings

Things are being told a little bit differently in this love story of Corinne and Zach…Not only did Mariel Hannah photograph this couple’s big day beautifully, but Corinne’s mother tells all about their love and wedding through her eyes…

“I guess you could say it all started June 1994 when I had a beautiful baby girl. Growing up, Corinne and I have always been close. As she got into those “dating” years, her Dad and I always told her to have fun but to remember he must be worthy of you! She just never found anyone “worthy of her”. Three years ago, Corinne was at her brothers house and there was a young man on the couch playing video games.”

This fun couple had a choir sitting within the audience at the church ready to burst into song like in the movie, Love Actually!

Wedding For The Weekend: Paul & Jackie- Stripping, Sweet Stands & Pez!

Written by , Posted in Real Weddings

We are absolutely loving this fun and fashion filled wedding, photographed by the talented Ross James in Washington!

The personal pez heads are our favourite! And the glass coke bottles! Oh and the sweet stand! Dammit…we love it all!

Here’s what Ross had to say about the day:

“Paul and Jackie’s wedding took place at Red Barns Farm near Pullman, WA. Paul is a fellow wedding photographer, so we knew this day was going to be different. And it was. He was willing to do anything we suggested, no matter how crazy the request. So there was plenty of leaping, ninja skills, and stripping. While shooting the cake cutting, he turned to a relative and said, “Please move over a little bit so the photographer can get the shot.” Really?! That’s never happened before. It was awesome! Both Paul and Jackie expressed an interest in fashion focused wedding photos so we brought a bunch of magazine ads for inspiration. The wedding guests were festive, the mood was cozy, and it was a great wedding overall.”

Enjoy!  ♥

Wedding For The Weekend- Paul & Amy’s Coberley Summer Wedding

Written by , Posted in Real Weddings

Today we have a gorgeous real wedding to share with you all! Photographed by the very talented Marcus from Big Eye Photography! We had the pleasure of meeting Marcus at the Tweet Up we attended last week and strongly recommend him for anyone looking for a talented, caring and motivated photographer!

Paul and Amy were married in the beautiful Cotswold village of Coberley, where they live, at Coberley Church.  A really stunning area, comprising only a few houses and a real countryside feel, despite it being only about three minutes out of Cheltenham.

When photographer Marcus previously met with Paul and Amy he quickly realised that they love black and white images and that flowers would play a large part  in the detail of their wedding!
