I know I know…last week Wizard Of Oz, this week Little Red Riding Hood, am I fairy tale crazy or what? Why yes, yes I am. I love a good fairy tale and I think they make for awesome wedding themes if they’re done correctly!
Little Red Riding Hood isn’t just about the big red cape, think about the picnic baskets, checkered table clothes & a wedding in the woods! Sounds pretty cool to me…

Ahhhhh the 50′s! An era of big bouncing skirts, Elvis and colourful milkshakes lining the bars of diners!
Using an era for a wedding theme is an absolutely awesome way to customise all of those special details of your day, think about it for a second…polka dots, coca cola, vinyl records and popcorn! Uhhh YES PLEASE!
We’ve gone with a red and duck egg blue theme for this inspiration board but it would work just as well by mixing up the colours! Yellow and pink would be super pretty and like…totally….50′s housewife darling!

Yes ladies and gents it’s that time of year when things are starting to get a little spooky! The evenings are drawing in, the moon is almost full and pumpkins are being purchased all over the place!
This season had us wondering how fun it would be to have a Halloween filled wedding?! We don’t mean your tacky plastic blats stuck on the walls or your guests filling the room covered in face paint & masks!
We were thinking vintage horror films as table names, magic potions as favours, Pumpkin centre pieces and black gothic birdcages! It could be beautifully haunting…

Hola from Mexico!

I know im getting around a bit, what with Italy and all, but can you blame me? England’s summer pretty much didn’t exist this year!
Instead of doing a standard Mexican destination wedding board this week, I wanted to bring you something that reflects the culture of this beautiful country, something full of colour and tradition.
You have a lot of options when it comes to a ‘Mexican colour scheme’, generally you could throw a huge selection of colours together and it would work. Like the Mexican bride’s dress above ‘embracing a riot of romantic color’.
Alternatively, you could theme your wedding around the colour scheme of red, white & green like the Mexican flag, or go for a scheme with an array of blues, red, yellow & pink like featured below.
It doesn’t just stop at the colour scheme though! A Mexican themed wedding isn’t complete without the delicious cuisine & music from the mariachi! Of course, there are lots of Mexican traditions too and if you’d like to include some of these in your wedding then you can read about them here.

When we came across the wedding of Emma and James we just knew we had to share it with you. The couple DIY’ed everything from the guest book to the bouquets, centre pieces and even her bridesmaid’s dress and her own wedding dress on which Emma sewed 400 sequins and 400 Swarovski crystals.

Boy do we have a treat for you today. As you must know by now we have a small obsession with Etsy, many hours can be wasted just looking through all the amazing stuff on there.
