Win Tickets to Zoe Lem’s Vintage Wedding Fair – Sunday 14th April, Bloomsbury Ballroom…

Good Morning to all our lovely readers on this beautiful Saturday morning. Today we have a some great news to share with you about an event that will be taking place in a few weeks time at the Bloomsbury Ballroom. The event in question is the extremely popular Zoe Lem’s Vintage Wedding Fair.

You couldn’t ask for a more truly exclusive venue than the Bloomsbury ballroom, described as an ‘Art deco gem’ a wedding here is a distinctive event; from the moment guests arrive outside the matchless facade of the listed building built in the 1920’s. Ushered through the doorways, guests enter the ‘Crush’ bar which creates a buzzing ambiance from the word go, and coats are checked in through the original ‘box offices’, reinforcing the atmosphere of period charm.

The Ballroom itself is a Deco delight. Think of the ‘flappers’ of the 1920’s, cocktails, the Great Gatsby, vehicles with running boards, dancing the Charleston and you’ll picture the mood … and licensed for civil weddings, the couple that tie the knot here do so with real style. The setting also makes for picture-perfect wedding photography with such a stunningly elegant backdrop.

This was by far one of the most refreshing wedding fairs we had ever been too, everyone was raving about it and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough. We Visited The National Wedding Show, Birmingham!

It’s not an understatement when people say The National Wedding Show is a BIG show and we were honestly blown away by the amount of vendors and businesses at the ready to showcase their work & talent!

Our day began with a lovely press brunch (hello orange juice & fresh fruit!) where we were handed our goodie bag & a much needed map to navigate our way around the large arena!

Sunday Sharing & Weekly Round-up: Last of the Summer Sun…

Hello lovelies on this beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon.

I am writing Sunday Sharing today from the comfort of my local pub, where I am enjoying spending the last of the summer sun in the beer garden. I usually dread the return of winter as I have a huge phobia of snow – yes thats right snow, but i have good reasons trust me. However im really looking forward to christmas this year, getting all cosy in my new little house and spending some quality time with my nearest and dearest. This year has been somewhat of a whirlwind for me, so ill be glad of the downtime.

Yesterday was a busy one for us as we made our way to the National Wedding Show in Birmingham to report on the day. The centre was buzzing with vendors and brides alike and we had an awesome day chatting with so many people, it was an exciting experience. There will be more from us on the show next week but for now, let us leave you with whats been going on in the world of weddings for another week.

We Meet the Bloggers behind Boho Weddings & Beyond Beyond!

As if we haven’t shouted about it enough already, we attended the ‘Designer Vintage Bridal Show’ a few weeks back and not only did we have an awesome time but we met some amazing people. We can’t tell you enough how lovely everyone was, it was truely amazing to speak to the people behind the many wonderful businesses in the wedding industry.

We are not going to lie we were more than a tad excited to hear that the queens of wedding blogging were going to be attending the designer vintage bridal show this year and we just had to meet them. Kelly from Boho Weddings and Amma from Beyond Beyond, both had stalls at the show this year.

We Visited the Designer Vintage Bridal Show 2012!

And what a show it was! An array of talented businesses were awaiting us at Hagley Hall and little did we know just how inspired and captivated we were going to leave this wedding fair feeling!

We kicked off the day as any proper, English girls would; With a cup of tea and a scone or two at Miss Lily’s Tea Room! We were seated in a dainty little room with a fabulous 1920′s feel while we sipped down our tea ready for the afternoon ahead!
