Help Save Rainforests! Lily Cole Launches Jewellery Line…
It is no secret that I am in love with the natural world and am a keen conservationist. I believe in order to make a real difference in conservation we need to find alternatives. It would be no good heading out to the rainforest and demanding no more trees be cut down. At the end of the day this is a family’s livelihood if we did that how would they survive?
There are lots of celebrities out there all doing their bit for conservation but today I want to tell you about one that has really caught my attention. Model and environmentalist Lily Cole has designed her very own jewellery range using sustainable Amazonian rubber.
The range is a result of a collaboration with Sky Rainforest Rescue and WWF and aims to raise awareness and help save a billion trees in the rainforest. The idea come about last year after the model visited Brazil to experience rubber tapping. The jewellery which consists of pendants, rings and bracelets has been made from the very same Amazonian rubber that Vivienne Westwood used not so long ago to create lily’s Met ball gown.
If you’re planning on an environmentally friendly wedding and are still looking for some jewellery that won’t cost the earth then this could be exactly what you are looking for. The range can be found on stylistpick.com with prices ranging from £10 for rings to £25 for pendants.
Much Bespoke Love
