Beauty DIY: How To Make A Coconut & Vanilla Body Scrub!
It’s that time of year again where our skin can become quite dry and often peel if we’re not looking after it enough! I read that the best way to give your skin a perfect summer tan is to have a good exfoliate in the shower before you begin tanning to remove any dead skin you have. The only problem is sometimes body scrubs can be pretty pricey right?! So instead I made this one with things I had lying around the house!
If you’re faking your tan instead of the real deal and it’s gone a little patchy then this is also fab to remove those bad bits!
Let’s get started shall we?
You will need:
♥ 2 cups of white granulated sugar ♥ 1/4 cup coconut oil (or olive oil if you don’t have any coconut) ♥ Vanilla essence/flavouring (this is purely for the scent so is completely optional!) ♥ Natural red food coloring ♥ A spoon ♥ A jar ♥ A mixing bowl
Step 1: Add the coconut oil and sugar into a bowl.
Step 2: Mix well.
Step 3: Add a few drops of vanilla essence (optional) and mix in well.
Step 4: Drop in a few drops of natural food colouring (don’t worry, it’s not enough to stain your skin!)
Step 5: Mix in well until all of the colour has thoroughly spread throughout the scrub!
Step 6: Scoop your mix into the jar.
Step 7: Add any decor to the jar that you want to, I think it’s particularly nice to just pop a ribbon around it if you’re giving it as a gift!
Pretty easy right? Better get scrubbing!
Much Bespoke Love

This is so great! I will definitely try this!
