Phew what a whirl wind these past few weeks have been, filled with hen parties & weddings. I have to admit, although it has all been very exciting, I am looking forward to a much more relaxed weekend. This week was very exciting for me as I preliminarily booked my favourite videographers in the whole wide world – Costa Sister Productions to come to Mexico to film our wedding. I am so so happy as having them their to film was one of the most important things to me. Unfortunately, I am still no closer with an actual date as the Cenote where we plan to get married has a strict 3 month booking rule, so we are having to get back in touch with them in the new year. Seriously guys I am on the edge of my seat here. I just want to get a date on that calendar!Details
Did you know that since the launch of Bespoke Bride in 2011 we have created over 300 DIY’s? Now, that’s alot of time spent researching, designing and making but what really makes it all worth it. is when our readers share photos of their finished projects with us. Those of you that use Pinterest will have seen that their is now an option to mark a pin as ‘tried’, where you can also add comments and pictures of your creations. These can be difficult to spot and we do sometimes miss them which, is why we are now encouraging you to tag us using our hashtag (#BespokeBrideDIY) on Instagram.
However, don’t worry as not all projects are lost in the depths of Pinterest and we have been fortunate enough to save some of your amazing feedback which we would love to share with you today? Over time many of you have asked questions about the difficulty level of our DIY’s and how well the finished versions held up, so we thought you might find our readers experiences useful, starting with what they thought of our Beyonce Lyric Glasses.Details
In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past year then you would know that marble is fast becoming one of the prettiest trends around, problem is it can sometimes be a little pricey. But we’ve got some good news for you! If you’re looking to include a little marble into your wedding or bridal shower then you can create this easy cake stand on a budget! This entire DIY costs less than £20 to make and the results really look anything but cheap…
YOU WILL NEED:
A round marble board (we used this one) // A glue gun or clear silicon (to be honest I would go for the silicon, it worked much better to secure everything together and was more sturdy // Gold spray paint (we used Rustoleum) // Something round and wide for the base (We used an Osma sewer connection! I know that sounds awful ha but it was brand new from a hard ware store and did the job perfectly!) //Details
