Christina Teenz Tan and Ron Danziger’s Creative Wedding Proposal Strikes a Chord Before Their Elegant Hotel Bel-Air Wedding
A historic proposal. A Swan Lake ceremony. A Grammy-polished love song. And one truly timeless romance.
Some couples meet on dating apps. Some lock eyes across a bar. But for Christina Teenz Tan and Ron Danziger, it all began in… neurology class. (Because nothing says sparks flying quite like the limbic system, right?)

Their love story started in medical school in Melbourne, Australia, where they bonded over science and sarcasm, medicine and music. The friendship came first—until one day, Ron nervously invited Christina to the aquarium for their first official date. (Ten out of ten for original date ideas.)
What followed was a decade-long journey of shared creativity, travel, laughter, and spontaneous harmonising—and one creative wedding proposal that would change everything.

💍 A Love Song Come to Life: Their Creative Wedding Proposal at Abbey Road
Let’s just say Ron didn’t propose over a quiet dinner at home. He orchestrated (quite literally) one of the most creative wedding proposals we’ve ever seen—and we’ve seen a lot.
In 2021, the couple found themselves at none other than Abbey Road Studios in London, recording an original co-composition. They weren’t alone. With them? A full 78-piece Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, capturing every breathtaking note.
Mid-session, Ron walked into the iconic Studio One carrying a bouquet of vibrant red flowers. He took the microphone and said:
‘I’m the composer of the song you’ve just heard. The song is actually based on lyrics by my beautiful partner, Christina. Every time I see Christina, I hear music—and that’s music I want to hear for the rest of my life.’

Cue the tears. Cue the gasps. Cue him getting down on one knee in front of a full orchestra.
And just like that, Abbey Road made history. Ron’s proposal was the first ever to take place during a live recording at the legendary studio—firmly earning its place as one of the most unforgettable and creative wedding proposals of all time.

🦢 From Historic Studio to Hollywood Glam: The Hotel Bel-Air Wedding
Fast forward to 14 June 2025, and Christina and Ron will be tying the knot in an enchanted Hotel Bel-Air wedding, surrounded by roses, swans, and plenty of cinematic romance. (Yes, there will be actual swans.)
Set in the heart of Los Angeles, the Hotel Bel-Air is famed for its lush gardens, timeless glamour and dreamy lakeside ceremonies. The couple will marry beside the Swan Lake, walking down the aisle to a live rendition of their co-written track, ‘Timeless’—the very same song that soundtracked their creative wedding proposal.
Christina’s gown is pure poetry: a blush pink Monique Lhuillier masterpiece adorned with cascading roses. The rose motif continues throughout the celebration, from the show-stopping wedding cake to the signature rose-infused cocktail. (Because every love story deserves to be drinkable.)
Each element of this Hotel Bel-Air wedding has been thoughtfully composed to reflect the couple’s journey—one of artistry, intimacy and elegance.
🎶 A Post-Wedding Soundtrack Worthy of a Grammy
But the music doesn’t stop at ‘I do’.
After the wedding, Christina and Ron will release a brand-new arrangement of ‘Timeless’, recorded by Britain’s Got Talent finalist Tom Ball, featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Voices Choir, under the baton of Robert Ziegler.
And if that wasn’t impressive enough, the final track will be mastered by Grammy award-winning engineers Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone, whose work includes collaborations with Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett and Taylor Swift.
The song has already garnered over 40 international awards, including:
-
Best Original Song – Munich Music Video Awards
-
Best Lyrics – International Music Video Awards
-
Best Music Video & Best Art Direction – New York International Film Awards

The couple first made headlines when Ron proposed during a live recording session with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road’s iconic Studio One (a moment believed to be the first engagement ever to take place in the legendary studio) during the recording of one of their co-written songs.
On Saturday, 14 June, their music echoed across the swan lake at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, as Ron and Christina exchanged vows in a romantic ceremony surrounded by close friends and family. The event was as much a celebration of their shared musical journey as it was their love. Their song, “Timeless,” took centre stage, as Christina walked down the aisle in a beautiful arrangement for string quartet. The song has now been recorded by Britain’s Got Talent finalist Tom Ball and will be released o 27 June on Signum Records.
