A Rustic Vegan Wedding at Folly Farm

Folly farm wedding by Liron Erel 0091

This wedding oozes so much personality and charm that I had a hard time narrowing down the photos to publish here! I love absolutely everything about it; the neutral colours, the laid back camping atmosphere and just how many of Mollie and Arran’s friends and family came together to make this special day that extra bit special! Even photographer Liron Erel said that this wedding touched him on so many levels that he couldn’t help himself taking video shots throughout the day, as one medium was just not enough…

A Charming English Barn Wedding: Emma & Scott

A Charming English Barn Wedding

When I was first introduced to Emma and Scott’s story I had a very deja vu moment. In fact I had to double check the couples names as I really thought I was reading the story of how one of my best friends had first met her husband.

Any way I digress. Today’s wedding has some of the most beautiful styling I have ever seen in a barn! Beautiful rustic floral displays, pretty pastel bunting, loads of fairy lights and all brought to life with the most fantastic photography! What really struck me with Emma and Scott was their desire to make sure everyone shared some part in their special day, holding a wedding in both New Zealand and back here in the UK, to make sure their most nearest and dearest could celebrate with them. Their first ceremony was held in New Zealand so it was only right that parts of that were included back home. In honour they had the best bottle labels made up, using an image from the original ceremony, along with the cutest surprise from Emma’s brothers, which featured a video of sweet messages from their family and friends back in New Zealand!

Here is Emma and Scott’s story…

A Rustic Apple Orchard Barn Wedding in Indiana

Dyer_Pride_CathyandDavidPhotographers_cathydavidphotokatieketh47_0 When Katie started planning for her and Keth’s wedding she immediately went to Pinterest (obviously!) and was so inspired and filled with ideas for their special day, luckily Keth was quite the woodworker and managed to DIY their own card box, a wine holder guest book, all the signs for the wedding and even learned calligraphy to address the wedding invitations and hand written place cards! Talk about putting your own personal touch to your wedding, Katie and Keth nailed it!

A Fun & Quirky Farm Wedding: Nora & Brandon

A Fun & Quirky Farm Wedding

I have to say I am just totally in love with todays bride! She looks so darn awesome and I love the fact that she wasn’t tempted into wearing contacts or not wearing glasses on her wedding day, She totally rocks glasses doesn’t she?

Today’s wedding was held on what can only be described as the most unusual farm I have ever seen, we are talking giant model elephants, hippos and dinosaurs – no joke!

They Got by with a Little Help From Their Friends (and Family!) – Naomi & Jack

Naomi + Jack Scuffins Photography 055

Jack and Naomi shared a love of two things; the outdoors and partying, so when it came to planning their wedding day they just knew the most important thing was to do the things they loved, with the people they loved which resulted in plenty of partying in a field with beautiful yurts and friends playing the guitar. Oh and the bride arrived in a tractor! AMAZING! What makes this wedding even more special though is that most of it was put together by their family and friends! Over to Naomi to tell you more…

A Rustic Garden Party: Chelsea & Chris

Chelsea and Chris get married!

Chelsea and Chris married at their ‘family’ barn in Vermont. Despite living thousands of miles away (the couple actually live in sunny California) they were able to plan their perfect wedding in just 6 months surrounded by close family friends whilst enjoying good food and excellent wine. Now this sounds like my type of wedding!

I asked Chelsea to tell me more…

A Handmade Homegrown Wedding by Steam Train: Sam & Juliet

Sam & Jules Blog-85

Sam & Juliet were married at St. Andrews Church in Backwell. Wearing her late grandmother’s engagement ring and an old vintage wedding dress she found in a shop in Como, Italy, Juliet was the epitome of beauty. The trainspotters amongst you will find it hard to miss the steam engine that the couple used as their wedding transport and the DIY lovers out there will think this wedding really is a treat as it is absolutely chocca with lots and lots of handmade details.

Lets find out more from Juliet…

A Romantic Fall Wedding in a Rustic Barn: Brooke & Dakota

A Romantic Fall Wedding in a Rustic Barn 1

All of the DIY details in today’s wedding are so cute! With the help of family and friends Brooke and Dakota had lots of special handmade touches throughout the wedding day. My favourites have to be pallet signs made by Brookes father. I also loved how the couple embraced social media into their day and even created an Instagram hashtag.

Brookes pretty bright orange bouquet looked divine against her white lace dress and the bridesmaids deep red dresses were the perfect way to incorporate fall colours into the day.

It is refreshing to hear Brooke speak so openly about her worries for her wedding, even though everything turned out alright in the end it is easy to see how you can lose sight of what your wedding really symbolises. I think Brookes final words of advice are something everyone should keep in mind when planning a wedding…

Stamped place names, handmade signs & local pub centre pieces are just some of the cute DIY details of Claire & Simon’s Autumnal wedding, all photographed beautifully by the wonderful Dale Weeks! We love how this couple used their own car for a little drive around the country lanes to grab some quiet time together on their special day too! But enough from me, i’ll hand you over to the gorgeous bride, Claire…
