DIY 3D flower Photography Art Photo tutorial wedding decor fresh flowers for everyone-8

You guys, I’ve been dying to do a DIY like this for ages and I’m so excited that we finally got around to making 3D flower art! I’ve seen similar things over on Pinterest with thread or paper flowers but I wanted to really kick this project up a notch and use some beautiful fresh flowers! I love the idea of using photos from an engagement shoot, decorating it with fresh flowers and displaying your art at your wedding! It would look perfect by the escort cards or drinks station!

YOU WILL NEED:

A large photo (we printed ours on A3 Card but the thicker the card the better) // Fresh flowers // A glue gun //

STEP 1:

Cut the stems off the flowers as close to the head as you can, you want the flowers to be able to sit flat on your photograph.

STEP 2:

Have a play around with how you’d like them to be arraigned and get a rough idea of which flowers you would like where.

How To Make Your Own Terrarium Centerpiece

Centre Piece Final

This time last year I treated myself to a terrarium from John Lewis, I fell in love with the shape and couldn’t wait to put it in the living room. Fast forward one year and it was still sat empty in the fireplace, it was time I got my ass into gear and put it to good use, so today I am showing you how to make your own terrarium centrepiece.

As I mentioned I got this terrarium from John Lewis but it is very easy to create your own versions using goldfish bowls and bell jars, basically anything glass with a wide enough depth and surface area to plant your succulents in will do just fine and will probably be a lot cheaper too!

This is how I did it…

You Will Need : A Terrarium// Slate shale// Soil// An assortment of succulents and/or cacti// Protective gardening gloves//
