With the cold weather upon us, it’s time to turn our attention to everything indoors. As soon as winter hits I love to redecorate the house and make those little household improvements that I’ve been putting off all year. So far, we have already redecorated our hallway, downstairs bathroom and I have turned our spare room into a much larger and fancier office.
As we live in rented accommodation we can’t do much in the way of renovations or bold paint choices, so we usually stick with white walls and then invest in statement pieces to add our own personalities to the space. When I started, I never really had a theme in mind, I was just buying things that I liked – patterns, textures, pops of colour and basically anything with a boho vibe.
Next on my list is our living room, which is probably one of the most neglected of rooms in our house, crazy really, as it’s the one room where we spend most of our time. Unfortunately, with main rooms such as this, come big ticket items, sofas, tables, chairs, shelving, storage, the list is endless. As someone who is soon to be getting married, I love the idea of being able to use a wedding gift registry to source some, if not all of these items. So I thought it would be fun to create a registry with Crate and Barrel and share some of my favourite living room essentials to transform any space into a boho dream. Crate and Barrel has an exclusive collection of housewares and furniture, great if you like unique designs as much as I do.

Me being me, I found so many items on the registry that I loved, so I decided to create two themes one for the minimalist bohemian and one for the more tropical. Coincidentally my home is a mixture of these two so far and I’m not sure which one to apply to our living room, so I could do with a little help from you guys to help me decide?Details
