Wedding For The Weekend: James & Katie’s Autumnal Wedding

4:30pm is an unusual time to get married, especially at this time of year when darkness seems to spring upon us before the day feels in full swing! But in this case, it couldn’t have been more perfect to have a wedding at this time, candles were placed around, fairy lights were up in the garden area & this autumnal wedding felt completely in tie with the season.

We’ve been lucky enough to have this gorgeous wedding at Addison Oaks County Park, Michigan to share with all you lovelies!

Glass Jar photography did a fantastic job of capturing the essence and beauty of Jamie & Billy’s wedding! Decorations were all DIY by the bride and we just can’t get enough of those pretty pastels!

Wedding For The Weekend: Home to Harry Potter…at Gloucester Cathedral!

We take pride in the beautiful churches & cathedrals in Gloucestershire and couldn’t believe it when photographer Shane Young sent us these beautiful images from a wedding he had photographed at Gloucester Cathedral!

Gloucester Cathedral is better known for the filming that took place there for the Harry Potter films but to us it’s always been one of the most beautiful cathedral’s we’ve ever seen!

Rachel and Edward met as choristers at Gloucester Cathedral, and although they now live and work in London, this was the world-class venue they wanted for their wedding day.

Wedding for the Weekend: Jenna and Rey’s Freshly Squeezed Lemon and Lime Wedding

Good Evening Lovlies and what a wonderful week it has been, the sun has been shining and the weather has been hot hot!!

We are posting twice today as we experienced a technical fault yesterday so enjoy the double dose of wedding goodness.

Our wedding for the weekend is that of Jenna and Rey, which took place in Bakersfield California and was shot by the awesome Mariel Hannah. The colour scheme truly captures the essence of summer with a pallet of bright citrus greens and zesty yellows.

Wedding for the Weekend: Ollie & Jenn’s Prestbury Wedding

Jenn and Ollie were married in the beautiful Prestbury St Mary’s Church and it was obvious that the attention to detail on the day would be second to none. After photographing Jenn, her family and the bridesmaids, Marcus from Big Eye Photography drove to The Plough in Prestbury where Ollie was dressed, ready and enjoying a pre-wedding drink! He had no worries about being late for the Church as it was literally across the road from the pub.

After the ceremony, with beautiful, soft light flooding the Church, a few group photos were fitted in before heading back to Jenn’s parents house to take some images for their thankyou cards. This was soon followed by the journey to the evening reception at Whittington, at Ollie’s parents’ house – a gorgeous marquee in landscaped gardens with beautiful touches as can be seen in the images below, from flowers hanging from the roof to croquet on the lawn!

We particularly love the guest book in this wedding and the grooms sense of humour!
