Frankie and Claire’s Epic Barcelona Elopement + Tips for Planning an Unforgettable Wedding in Spain
THIS COUPLE HOSTED A BACKYARD VINTAGE CARNIVAL WEDDING WITH POPCORN, LOLLIPOPS & LANTERNS!
I LOVE THIS WEDDING SO MUCH you guys! It’s filled to the brim with colour, popcorn, games and plenty of sweets! (winning combination!) Jennifer and Amanda wanted a day that was just as fun for their guests as themselves and they sure did pull it off! Not to mention their ceremony was beautifully set amongst it all in true carnival themed fashion…

“We wanted something intimate and affordable and we are blessed enough to live in the country where we could have all that for free! We chose the carnival theme because we are an easy going, playful couple who wanted our reception to be more interactive and whimsical for our guests and ourselves. Our favorite moments was just watching the overall day. We pretty much did the wedding ourselves with the amazing help of friends and family. The carnival booths, signs, scrabble game, corn hole, decorations, signs, set up was all done with our friends and families come to life.
The pcorn, Lemonade, and Candy stands that were homemade by the brides and Jennifer’s dad. They had also made up backyard scrabble, homemade cornhole, checker boards, chinese laterns, ring toss, burlap sacks, hoola hoops, lots of lighting and we evening had fireworks at the end of the night.
For party favors, we gift bags filled mason jars with gum balls that had a homemade tag on it that said our initials and wedding date and “we hope you had a ball” we also had a bag of pop corn in the bag that had a picture from our engagement session embellished on it.
We were engaged for a year and it was a lot of planning and creating but see it come to life was priceless.”
