Decadence at the Dockyard Styled Shoot
We love it when a team comes together and creates a styled shoot with something so beautiful about it that we can’t wait to share it with you all, which is exactly what happened when Cristina Rossi got together with Federica Bruno and many more fabulous suppliers to create ‘Decadence at the Dockyard’.
Cristina told us that “The inspiration behind the shoot was to play with light, shadows and reflections, we used mirrors to help with this idea. I had photographed at this venue before and I knew that the Tarred Yarn would have been the perfect setting to create a contrast between Federica’s stunning dress, worn by our beautiful fair skin and red haired model Lucy and the decadent beauty of the Tarred Yarn.”
“It was a pleasure and an honour to work with such a talented and creative team, everyone bounced ideas and worked together beautifully. My favourite image is the multiple exposure with the mirrors. Everyone got involved holding mirrors at different times, and it sure spurred a few laugh amongst us! There is also a Gunnet on site when the venue actually holds weddings on it, so it was only a pleasure to take a few shots on it to make the most of this stung location!”
What do you guys think of this? Stunning isn’t it? I love the amount of experimenting with materials and fabric and reflections! Plus how gorgeous was the location?! Swoon!
