34 FIZZY COCKTAIL RECIPES PERFECTLY MADE FOR PROSECCO
Remember the great Prosecco shortage of 2015? A entire world without Prosecco, can you imagine? People everywhere stocked up their drinks cabinets and we all savored every last sip. As it happened, I don’t think we ever did quite get round drinking all the Prosecco, but if you’re anything like me, you bloody well gave it a good go!
Since then, Prosecco has continued to rise up through the ranks as one of our favourite tipples, with many, myself included, preferring it over champagne. So, with the weekend drawing closer I thought it would be fun to round up some of my favourite fizzy cocktails, perfect for this weekends celebrations.
Sparkling Citrus, Lillet & Prosecco Punch: As September marks the beginning of fall, we’re just about done with ‘refreshing’ cocktails and looking for something that packs more of a punch, like this Sparkling cocktail made with Lillet.(Image via The Bojon Gourmet)
Sangria Verde: If you’re not quite ready to let summer go just yet, then this recipe is for you! Described as subtle and velvety on the tongue, this recipe was made with Prosecco’s smoother cousin Vinho Verde. It’s clean, crisp and you guessed it – refreshing! (Image via The Bojon Gourmet)
Prosecco Margarita: There is nothing like a cold Margarita to remind you of Mexico and it tastes even better when you just add bubbles. This recipe also works great as a big batch cocktail. (Image via A Farmgirl’s Dabbles)
Peach Sorbet & Prosecco: I think this might just be my favourite one yet, combining the delicate flavors of summer peach with everyone’s favourite fizz – sounds like heaven! (Image via Brooklyn Supper)
Blueberry Mojito Royale: Blueberries, fresh mint, lime and a sprinkling of sugar, mixed with a generous shot of rum, and then topped with chilled champagne. Let me introduce you to the happiest cocktail on the planet! (Image via Domesticate Me)
One for the Money Cocktail: You will love this cocktail just for it’s name alone but the description sounds even better, floral, effervescent, and delicately spiced – love at first sip. (Image via The Bojon Gourmet)
Grilled Peach & Rosemary Prosecco: Don’t mind us, we’ll just be sitting over here, ignoring all pumpkin spice recipes and drinking our peach prosecco like its still summer. (Image via Will Cook For Friends)
