FREE PRINTABLE CHRISTMAS BAUBLE BANNER

Updated for 2025: Fresh tips, new ideas, and festive inspiration to make your holidays shine!
How early do you guys put your Christmas decorations up? I’m a ‘let’s get them up the moment Halloween is over’ kind of gal, whereas Emily likes to wait until after her birthday at the beginning of December! Do you refresh and add to your décor every year? I like to add and swap out pieces just to keep it fresh!
If you’re looking for an easy addition to this year’s festive decorations, then why not use this free printable Christmas garland to put a fun phrase on the wall?! You have the whole alphabet to choose from, so you can be as creative as you want!
Not only is it super simple to use, but a printable garland is also a cost-effective way to instantly elevate your décor. There’s no need to buy expensive pre-made banners or themed decorations that you’ll only use for a few weeks. You can print exactly what you need, in the colors and style that match your home, making it completely customizable.
Another great benefit is that it encourages creativity and personalization. You can spell out traditional phrases like “Merry Christmas” or get playful with fun sayings that suit your family’s personality. It’s a small detail that adds big charm and character to your holiday setup.
Finally, printable garlands are reusable and adaptable year after year. Store the letters safely, and you can mix and match them to create new phrases each season. It’s also a great activity to involve kids — they can help assemble the garland, choose colors, and even come up with their own festive messages, turning decorating into a fun family tradition.
With just a little bit of effort, this small addition can make your home feel even more festive, cozy, and personalized for the holidays!

Simply download the alphabet banner here and print out onto thick white card. The banner will print perfectly on either A4 or letter size card. Once you’ve done this you can cut around the baubles and start to form the words you would like on your garland! And obviously you don’t have to print out all of the pages either, just print the ones with the letters on that you plan to use to save yourself ink and card.

At this point you can either glue the letters onto your string/thread/ribbon or if you prefer to thread them on then just hole punch some small holes into the top of the baubles and slide them onto the string instead! Easy Peasy!

I also really love the idea of using these for gift tags too! Imagine a beautifully wrapped present and then the recipients first letter of their name sitting pretty on top! For more Christmas DIYs click here! xx
