Chris rocked a bolo tie, traditional Irish shillelagh, and hat adorned with a feather…a gift from the bride in the form of a pocket watch completed the vibe. Erin strutted her stuff in hand-embroidered bridal shoes that were practically works of art.

The Ceremony

The ceremony? Oh, it was pure magic. An Irish handfasting sealed the deal, and the whole crew was serenaded by a kickass bluegrass band, Steel Betty, live at the reception. Guests showed up in wild outfits, thanks to the couple’s call for a unique wedding guest dress code, and the place was decked out with DIY decor that screamed personality.

They brought in their personal record player and collection and each record had a sticky note of why it was special to the couple. Guests loved it! They are also big Lord of the Rings fans, and Chris baked their actual wedding cake as a replica of Bilbo Baggins’ birthday cake from the movies.
