DIY CHRISTMAS SLOGAN PUN GLASSES

Calling all jingle ladies! Here we go guys, Christmas DIYs start right here and I couldn’t be more excited about it! We’re kicking things off with these funny pun slogan glasses because we all love a good pun don’t we?! These are so easy to make, we’re even stocking the stickers in our shop if you’d prefer to just buy them instead of making them (we love making Christmas as easy and fun as possible!) so let’s get started shall we? Time to get SPROUT of control with the Christmas DIYs….(paha sorry couldn’t resist!)

YOU WILL NEED:

Glassware of your choice // Gold vinyl* // /Cricut Machine // Transfer tape //

*If you don’t have a cutting machine or would prefer to just buy the vinyl stickers instead of cutting them out, then you can buy these Christmas Slogan pun stickers here and then skip straight to step 4!

STEP 1:

Open up the Cricut design space and using the font tool, type the quotes you want to cut out, the 10 slogans we went for are as follows:

-EVERYDAY I’M BRUSSELIN
-ALL THE JINGLE LADIES
-SLEIGH MY NAME SLEIGH MY NAME
-BELIEVE IN YOUR ELF
-HAPPY HOLLA DAYS
-UP TO SNOW GOOD
-SLEIGH WHAT?
-MINCE PIES BEFORE GUYS
-COS I SLEIGH
-SPROUT OF CONTROL

I then sized them all to 2 inches wide because that’s what would fit my glasses best, but size yours to whatever works for you.

WEEKEND WEDDING PLANNING: CHRISTMAS SPIRIT

Did someone just say Christmas? No way! Usually I am very strict about when we can start feeling festive in our household. Normally it’s the weekend after my birthday, but as we will be out of the country for much of December this year, I have relaxed the rules a little as I don’t want there to be a mad Christmas rush the week we come back from Sri Lanka. So this year for the first time ever, we will be putting up our Christmas tree in NOVEMBER!! Jess has already pipped me to the post as she put her Christmas tree up this week in preparation for our Christmas DIY’s which will be starting next month and sitting their eating lunch with her yesterday and I strangely felt myself feeling rather Christmassy. So when do you decorate for Christmas? Is November too early?

Talking of Christmas, here are some festive links, great if your putting the final touches to a December wedding…

Simply download the template here and print them out onto white card, then all you need to do is cut them out carefully and pop a hole in the end of them using a hole punch! How simple and easy is that?! Next, grab yourself some pretty twine or ribbon, thread it through the hole and write a lovely message on the back for the receiver!

I don’t know about you but I’m definitely one of those people that take a lot of time and effort with wrapping up my gifts, I want them to look just as good on the outside and get the person receiving the gift really excited before they’ve opened it! PLUS if you’re using presents as part of your Christmas decor by piling them all up under the tree then you know you want them to look extra special!
