FUN & COLOURFUL FESTIVAL INSPIRED WEDDING AT THE WELLBEING FARM

Ok, I’ll be honest, I love reliving my own engagement story to whoever asks, I honestly think it’s one of the most exciting things about the whole marriage process. Granted, I haven’t got married yet, but when I ask anyone else about how they got engaged, I can still see that glimmer of excitement in their eye as they relive it like it was just yesterday. Just like Lucas and Bekah who met at Keele university back in 2007. 7 years later Luke proposed whilst they were away for a week in the lake district, I’ll let Bekah tell you the rest…

“Lucas booked a wonderful hotel called The Samling in Windemere, where we stayed for the night and had the BEST food I have ever tasted! After tea, we went back to our room and he got down on one knee and proposed. Needless to say, I was very chuffed and said yes.”

TRANSFORM YOUR WEDDING DAY DECOR WITH THESE JEWELED GEOMETRIC IDEAS

We hope you’ve all had the best weekend and if this is your first time visiting the new look site, we hope you have enjoyed what you have seen so far! Our love for colour is no secret, given the number of bright, bold DIY’s wedding’s and Styled shoots we share on our site. And today is no different, as we are super excited to share these jeweled geometric wedding decor ideas with you. Here’s a couple of quick tips for recreating this look for yourself.

First, take inspiration from your venue and work with the colours of the room. Compliment these with other bright and bold tones to make your decor really pop.

Second, if you want to know how to make those glittered champagne glasses all you need to do is get your own plain glasses (these were less than 50p each!) add PVA glue to the base and then sprinkled with glitter. They aren’t dishwasher safe but certainly look pretty and add a little bit of extra sparkle! Super simple, effective and cheap!
