MAKE THESE PRETTY PASTEL PINEAPPLE CHOCOLATE FAVOURS!
With Mother’s day just around the corner we thought it would be fun to share a really easy & super pretty DIY that would make the perfect gift for your mum (seriously, you can’t wrong with chocolate!). If you’ve already got your Mother’s day present sorted (go you!) then these would also make the perfect favours for your wedding! They were really cheap to make too and would look so pretty in mini chocolate boxes or little bags on the tables!
YOU WILL NEED:
White chocolate // Gel food colouring (don’t use liquid, it makes the chocolate go a super weird consistency) // Pineapple moulds (or any shape you like really!) // Edible food glue // Edible glitter // 2 Small paintbrushes //
STEP 1:
Melt your first batch of chocolate in the microwave or over a bowl of boiling water and gradually add in your gel food colouring until you’re happy with the colour.
STEP 2:
Spoon your coloured mixture into the moulds, working quickly & then pop in the fridge to set. NOTE: You don’t have to use pineapple moulds, I did a few in a normal ice cube tray and they look still looked really cute!
STEP 3:
Repeat with as many colours as you like.
STEP 4:
Once the chocolate has set, remove from the fridge and carefully pop all of the pineapples out of the moulds. How cute do they look?!
STEP 5:
You can leave them at this stage if you like, or if you’re a glitter lover like me then get your paintbrush and brush your edible glue over the top of the pineapple, then using your other brush, paint on the edible glitter!
Then that’s it you’re done! I think anyone would be happy to receive these pretty pastel chocs as a little gift, they’re almost too pretty to eat! Almost. xx
