FUN & UNIQUE ENGAGEMENT SHOOT FOR A COUPLE WHO LOVES COFFEE A LATTE
Samantha and Michael said they clicked immediately when they met and have been inseparable ever since. They approached photographer, Vicky of Victoria Lynn Photography, wanting an engagement session that was fun and incorporated their matching tattoos – Donuts, coffee, and PB & J sandwiches.
The theme throughout their session was Donuts + Love. Starting at a local donut shop – The Donut + Dog, the couple then headed to another local donut shop Five Daughters Bakery before ending with a coffee shop – Just Love. Samantha wanted the engagement session to flow from “Donuts” to “I Love Donuts” to “Just Love”. To incorporate their love for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches they wore matching PB & J t-shirts.
“Coffee is an important part of my every day. I’m a coffee connoisseur. Really, as laughable as that seems, I am. 🙂 I’ve worked with a roaster, cupped and have learned the trade from a lot of experts.” She told us.
“When Michael and I met almost two years ago. I introduced my ritual to him, and he liked the calmness, instantly.”
“I reached out to our favorite, locally owned, donut place – Donut + Dog in Hillsboro Village. The owner and manager welcomed us and were happy to have us use their location. We also used the “I Love Donuts” mural at 5 Daughters Bakery!”
“In finding a coffee shop; I had to put my proverbial thinking cap on. It occurred to me that I had visited almost all the local Nashville coffee shops, but I wanted something meaningful, something that made sense. Then it occurred to me – Just Love Coffee. What could have been better than – Just Love?”
“It was easy after that. I reached out to the manager at the midtown location and they were happy to have us!” Samantha explained.
“I was so happy with all of the locations and the kindness of the owners, managers and team members that I had chosen for the session.”
“I found our photographer Victoria after seeing an advert on Facebook. It was right at the height of the ‘Stay At Home call’ to Nashville. Vicky invited viewers to look at her website and sign up for a “Tips and Tricks” email that was full of information for weddings and Engagement Photo Advice.”
“I believe everyone should have an engagement session!” Samantha added.
“First, for the two of you! Second, photos are such an important part of all our family histories. Don’t miss the opportunity to have those for later years!”
Choose what You love! What makes the two of you? Is it a simple ritual? Is it your love of your family? Is it just hanging at home? And love the life you Live! That’s what Michael and I do! We wish everyone the happiness that we share!”
