Here’s how it went…
Stephanie and Chris had a gorgeous summer wedding day at Great Marsh Estate in Bealeton, Virginia. With an iconic manor house, historic stables, and endless wide open fields, their venue was the perfect setting for a beautiful wedding day in the Northern Virginia countryside.
They started their day getting ready in Great Marsh’s manor house, with Stephanie and her bridesmaids in the luxurious second floor bridal suite. They had so many special details to take photos of, including their beautiful invitation suite that featured their adorable dogs on the envelope. And I love the shot of Stephanie’s dress hanging in the bridal suite – her gown was stunning!

The Colors
The colors of their wedding day were a bold mix of blues and pinks. The groom and groomsmen wore navy suits while the bridesmaids had light blue dresses. And the flowers brought in beautiful bright pops of pink and peach! The bouquets were gorgeous and Stephanie and Chris chose a stunning floral arch as the backdrop to their ceremony. They just trusted their florist’s vision and actually did not know what the flowers would look like until their wedding day! They just asked for bright colors and the florist delivered the perfect arrangements.

The Ceremony
For the ceremony, Stephanie, Chris, and their wedding party all exited from the manor house to walk down the aisle. They exchanged vows in front of that gorgeous floral arch, and the ceremony location allowed the guests to also look out over the sprawling fields of the estate grounds.
Cocktail hour was on the patio next to the stable barn, where guests enjoyed mingling on a warm summer evening. They had such a fun reception with toasts, dancing, and a delicious three tier cake adorned with more of the bright pink flowers!
