Phew what a whirl wind these past few weeks have been, filled with hen parties & weddings. I have to admit, although it has all been very exciting, I am looking forward to a much more relaxed weekend. This week was very exciting for me as I preliminarily booked my favourite videographers in the whole wide world – Costa Sister Productions to come to Mexico to film our wedding. I am so so happy as having them their to film was one of the most important things to me. Unfortunately, I am still no closer with an actual date as the Cenote where we plan to get married has a strict 3 month booking rule, so we are having to get back in touch with them in the new year. Seriously guys I am on the edge of my seat here. I just want to get a date on that calendar!Details
Cheer’s to the freakin’ weekend! I can’t believe it has been just one week since I last shared my my weekend wedding plans. I’ve only written a couple of posts but it has already made me realise just how quickly the weeks fly by! It took me a few days to recover from last weekends antics as we headed to Carmarthen to celebrate the wedding of Sophie and Gareth, the faces behind Crown & Glory. Those of your who followed our story on Instagram I hope you enjoyed the sneak peeks from the day, we can’t wait to share more on the blog soon!Details
Ok, I’ll be honest, I love reliving my own engagement story to whoever asks, I honestly think it’s one of the most exciting things about the whole marriage process. Granted, I haven’t got married yet, but when I ask anyone else about how they got engaged, I can still see that glimmer of excitement in their eye as they relive it like it was just yesterday. Just like Lucas and Bekah who met at Keele university back in 2007. 7 years later Luke proposed whilst they were away for a week in the lake district, I’ll let Bekah tell you the rest…
“Lucas booked a wonderful hotel called The Samling in Windemere, where we stayed for the night and had the BEST food I have ever tasted! After tea, we went back to our room and he got down on one knee and proposed. Needless to say, I was very chuffed and said yes.”Details
Lucky Sixpence Bridal recently made the move from London to the creative haven of Margate on the Kent coast. To celebrate the move, founder Anna wanted to do something to showcase the beauty of the area and the local creativity and so this shoot was born!
