THIS PRETTY PASTEL SEASIDE WEDDING PROVES MERMAIDS ARE REAL!

As wedding bloggers, many people make the assumption that we get to attend a lot of weddings, so it might come as a surprise to find out that we don’t get invited to as many as you might think. And we’ve certainly never attended any of the weddings that we’ve featured on Bespoke Bride… that was until today.

Some of you might recognize today’s beaut of a bride as YouTuber, Emily Fisher of Mermaid Gossip. Jess met Emily back in 2013 at Blogcademy, London and not long after Jess introduced us both at a local bloggers event in Bristol. We instantly hit it off, realizing we had tons in common and we’ve remained close friends ever since, celebrating friendsgivingsBirthdays and now even marriages.

We felt so honoured to have been part of Emily and Brads special day and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you…

Prepare yourself for some serious mermaid vibes!!!

FAUX FOLIAGE BRIDE & GROOM CHAIR SIGNS DIY

Sometimes it’s all about the details, you don’t need many, but having a few cute detail DIY projects in the bag can really help when it comes to putting everything together on the big day! Today we’re going to be sharing a really easy bride / groom chair hang DIY which you guys can easily make in an afternoon and then pop away ready for the wedding! I just love how darn adorable they look on Emily’s pink chairs!

YOU WILL NEED:

Faux Foliage // Small faux flowers // Hot glue gun // Pliers // Steel wire // Floral tape // Printer // String or yarn //

STEP 1:

Start by printing off the word bride and groom in a font that you like, you’ll need to pick a cursive font so that all of the letters join up.

STEP 2:

Next cut a long piece of your wire and start folding it into the shape of your word, you can do most of this with your hands but you’ll need to use the pliers for the tighter curves, I also found that it helped to use the floral tape to keep certain parts of the word together once I had bent them.

STEP 3:

Repeat this with your other word, whether you’re making bride and groom, bride and bride or groom and groom. Then, tie your string or yarn onto each side of each of your words so that they’re ready to hang.

THIS COUPLE PAIRED STORM TROOPERS WITH MERMAIDS FOR THE ULTIMATE UNIQUE WEDDING

Lara and Scott wanted to create a wedding day that was unequivocally theirs and boy oh boy did they pull it off! I mean it isn’t often you go to a wedding with the little mermaid and a storm trooper sat at the top table, metallic dinosaurs and a light up box with a swear word on it. They were married at Pennard House, just a short 10 minute drive from their house.
