Our dye instructions said to leave it for 15 minutes then give the water and fabric a stir then leave it for a further 45 minutes so that’s what we did! We then pulled the skirt out and left it to dry until the fabric was damp but not fully dry.

Take your leather lace and tie it securely together to create a necklace shape. Then cut your yarn into roughly 15cm pieces, it doesn’t matter if they’re not perfect because you can always trim them later if you need to! MAKE THIS GOLD PINEAPPLE DRESS FOR YOUR BRIDESMAIDS!

DIY Pineapple Themed Dress Gold Iron Tropical Bridesmaids Dress Tutorial with Cricut

I don’t know about you but I would LOVE to see a wedding with the bridesmaids in patterned pineapple dresses! I think it’s a super fun idea, especially for the summer and having the pineapples in gold adds that touch of extra glamour to the dresses! Making your own couldn’t be easier either, here’s how to do it!

YOU WILL NEED:

A Cricut (We used the Explore Air) // Gold Iron On Transfer Paper // This template // A plain white dress // An Iron //

Alternatively if you don’t have a Cricut, simply print this template onto printable iron on paper and iron on! It won’t have the same glittery effect but it will still look super cute!

DIY Pineapple Themed Dress Gold Iron Tropical Bridesmaids Dress Tutorial with Cricut-5

STEP 1:

Upload the pineapple template to the Cricut Design Space and size it to around 2 inches wide. You’ll then want to copy and paste it to until you have enough to fill your mat with pineapples. We filled a 12 x 12 inch mat and that was enough to cover the entire front of the dress.

STEP 2:

Load your mat into the machine with your gold iron paper and hit go!

WEDDING WEARS: 3 STYLES TO TRY THIS SUMMER!

Bright and bold wedding outfit styles4

When I tell people that my ‘job’ is wedding blogging the response I often get is ‘Aww does that mean you get to go to loads of weddings?!’ (Sometimes the response is what’s a blog? But don’t even get me started on that one) Long story short, nope, I totally do not get to go to loads of weddings! I get to see hundreds of beautiful weddings online but the only time I attend weddings is the same as most people; when my family or friends are tying the knot! (And as you can imagine I get totally over excited when this happens!) Anyway, I often find myself dreaming of what I would wear to certain types of weddings and today I thought I would share with you some of favourite styles  around right now!

You guys know we’re not shy of colour around here so the above summer wedding outfit is perfect for us! We love to dress colourfully all year round but there’s something even nicer about wearing bright and bold colours when the sun is shining!

BRIGHT & BOLD BABE

1. Mini Boxy Tote from Topshop // 2. Neon Coral Short Lace Top from H & M // 3. Pierre Hardy Tri Coloured Wedges from Rebelle.com //4. Elizabeth Arden Matt Lipstick in Coral Crush 42 // 5. Festival Wedding Outfit with maxi dress kimono and temp tattoos2

We are officially in full on festival season now and we all know that festival weddings are as popular as ever! If I was lucky enough to attend one of these weddings I would have to get all dressed up in something like the above! (P.S how epic is that head piece?!)

STEP 1:

Take the top layer of tulle and keep it separate from the rest of the skirt (we just tied ours up with a hair bobble). You’ll want to glue the flowers to the layer underneath the top one so that the top layer of tulle can sit pretty over top of your flowers.
