I love a quick and easy DIY as much as the next gal and let me tell you, these ombre Christmas tree cones couldn’t be easier to make! They make such a statement in a festive display too and really POP! I bought the plain cones from Hobbycraft and they were only £2 each so it’s a cheap and effective way to add to your Christmas decorations as well!
YOU WILL NEED:
Plain Christmas tree cones // White spray paint // Colourful spray paint in the shades of your choice (We used berry pink, spa blue and sun yellow from Rustoleum // Gold craft paint // A small paintbrush //
First you’ll want to spray paint the cones white until they’re completely covered, I did two coats just to make sure. Then allow them to fully dry.
Next, it’s time to spray paint on your colours, making sure to stop before the bottom of the cone to create the ombre effect. I found it best to spray about two thirds of the cone.Details
