Off the Record: More Photoshoots, Sun, Sea and Sand!
Happy Sunday!! Well that week went pretty darn fast didn’t it? I don’t know about you but I am still trying to resist the temptation to dive in to munching on all my Easter eggs, I had 5 in total, yes 5! How lucky am I! I am being a good girl however and just have a little nibble now and again!
We have had a lot of fun this week, as we traveled all the way to sunny (but still very cold) Weston Super Mare for a photoshoot with the fantabulous Craig Dearsley and his beautiful wife Ronnie. It was great to catch up with the both of them, they made us laugh so much our faces were hurting. Make up artist Grace Kingsley also joined us and had me all excited when she just so happen to mention she had recently worked as a makeup artist on ‘Broadchurch’. The show is currently running on BBC1 and I am well and truly hooked. I did try to probe her about the ending but as only true pros can, she maintained her tight lip. The final addition to our team was Andy from Lovebus Weddings and his super cool refurbished camper van. She looked so pretty sat on a sunny beach it felt like she was home.
We have a little sneaky peek of the shoot right here for you, eeek we are so excited to see the rest of them!!!
Anyways for now here is what we are loving this week…
♥ Sunny Beaches, although still cold they make me so happy, I get an excitable feeling because I know summer is just around the corner 🙂
♥ Fujifilm’s Instax mini Cameras – Ronnie and Craig had one on our shoot and I fell totally in love with it, I must have one in my life!
♥ I have never enjoyed salads but this week I have experimented a little with homemade sauces, olives and sweet peppers and my mind has been blown, I don’t think I will ever turn down a salad again!
♥ Broadchuruch is my guilty pleasure on a Monday night, starring David Tenant and Olivia Coleman. The story begins when a young boy is found dead on a beach, a bit morbid I know but the rest of series takes a closer look at the lives of the family and friends of the boy and it seems that not everything is as they first appear.
♥ Writing lists of everything I don’t want in my life then writing a whole new list of what I do want in my life has helped me reevaluate a few details this week. I am well known for changing my mind ALOT so I like to sometimes just sit down and focus on my hopes and dreams for my future.
♥ Fresh, warm donuts at the sea side!
♥ Going out for dinner with the family to celebrate mum’s birthday! Yummy yummy french food!
♥ Watching James and the band play at a gig!
♥ Actually having a lie in for once! I don’t know what it is about me but even when I’m completely free to have a lie in I end up waking up at 8am! However, yesterday I slept in until 11am and it was GLORIOUS!
♥ Getting bought flowers for Easter since I’m not a massive fan of chocolate (I know, I know, i’m weird)
What we are loving in the world of weddings….
♥ You are going to fall in love with this gypsy inspired shoot! What a fabulous idea for a bridal shoot?
♥ If you want to make your own decorations for your wedding how about this spring floral mobile, super pretty and super easy!
♥ We love all the special and unique touches in this DIY wedding. The pretty little windmills are so adorable!
♥ Is it just us or are men and their suits seriously overlooked in this industry? We thought this was a really interesting read about four grooms revealing how they chose their suits!
♥ If you are a typical English rose looking for uncomplicated hair and makeup that will be sure to give the WOW factor then you need to check this feature.
♥ This fairytale wedding is magical, with blush paper peonies and twinkling lights galore…
♥ How cute is this cat mobile phone sleeve? I just couldn’t resist!
Thats all for this week, for now I wanted to leave you with a funny little video of Jessica trying to play a didgeridoo, anyone want to offer lessons because I think she could do with some 😀
Much Bespoke Love
