A Vintage Train Engagement – Kirsty & Mark
Good afternoon lovelies! To round off this fabulous week we wanted to share with you a beautiful love story and engagement, shot by the very talented Camera Hannah.
I am smitten with this couple, their journey to marriage, their love for one another, they really are the sweetest.
I also love how this shoot combines both this couples passions, Kirsty’s fondness of all things vintage with the suitcases works perfectly with Marks dream to become a train driver. We must also mention that the heavens opened on the day of the shoot but if you’re anything like me, you will think rain is something to be celebrated and Photographer Hannah Millard did a fantastic job of making the most of it. Here is Kirsty to tell us a bit more about her and Marks engagement…
“Mark and I met back at the place we call home, Swansea in 2010. Since then we have supported each other to reach our career dreams and moved 250 miles to make them happen. I am studying to become an Occupational Therapist and Mark has reached his goal to become a train driver since living in Hertfordshire. It has been a uphill struggle both having to move away from family and friends to achieve these goals and for the first year and a half living in shared housing was not the most enjoyable experience for either of us. After this experience it was time to move into our own home, so we moved into the cutest little flat. On our first night together in the flat Mark gave me a bag of my favourite vintage sweets to enjoy. At the bottom of the bag was the most beautiful marquise diamond ring. He proposed to me there in our own home.
Our wedding day hopes to combine both my love of all things vintage and Mark’s passion. We were invited to a pre-wedding photoshoot as part of our wedding photography package and although the morning of the shoot was a miserable wet and windy day, this was soon forgotten about once Hannah got snapping. What a great set of images to cherish forever.”
We wish Kirsty and Mark all the best for their wedding plans and a huge thank to Camera Hannah for capturing the day and sharing it with us.
Have a great weekend folks!
Much Bespoke Love
Gorgeous shoot. And I agree about the rain being something to celebrate. I always think rainy photos are so fresh and they have a special quality I can’t quite describe. The thing I adore most about this is the absolute love they have for each other. Aw! And the proposal is fab!! Lovely post 🙂 x
Thanks Erin, aren’t they just so cute! Hannah Millard did a fantastic job! X
